Movers & Shapers

Here's a card I made a while ago, using the new Movers and Shapers Big Shot die.

Movers & Shapers card

The colors are: Real Red, Old Olive, and Bashful Blue. I used the Scallop Edge punch, Certainly Celery prints DSP, and 1" Bashful Blue Double-Stitched grosgrain ribbon. I used the Rock & Roll technique to get 2 colors of ink on the stamped image, and a White Gel Pen to do the stitching aroung the heart.

I LOVE the Movers & Shapers die, and how many things you can do with it. I can't wait to use it in my scrapbook for some peek-a-boo windows!

Hope you like it!

Oval All card

Here's a card I made for swaps for the Stampin' Up Convention....

Swap card Oval All

This card was co-designed by my good friend Pamela! Thanks for your help with my swaps, Pamela!

It uses the following Stampin' Up products:

Stamps: Oval All, Best Wishes & More

Paper: Razzleberry Lemonade DSP, Bermuda Bay, Rich Razzleberry & Old Olive cardstocks,

Inks: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive

Accessories: Eyelet border Punch, Razzleberry Polka-Dot Ribbon, 5/8" Vanilla Grosgrain ribbon, Movers & Shapers Oval Die (just the punched out piece), Scallop Oval Punch, sponge, dimensionals,

**I realize now as I post this, that this card is missing the coloring on the flowers. I did color the swaps in, using markers in So Saffron, Old Olive, and Razzleberry, then stamped the image again over top in Chocolate Chip using the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig. I guess I kept the only swap not completed :) Will have to get coloring!

Christmas Ornament Card

Just wanted to share with you a pretty Christmas card I demonstrated at my last stamp club event.

Christmas Ornament card

It is made using some of the new products from the Holiday Mini Catalogue (contact me to get your copy!)

The ornament stamp from Delightful Decorations (#116517) was inked in Soft Suede, then I dabbed on some of the new Champagne Shimmer Paint (#116806) with a Sponge Dauber before stamping it. I punched it out with the new Ornament Punch (#116794). The Whisper White cardstock was stamped with the Serene Snowflakes (#115438) stamp, dabbed with just the Shimmer Paint, and punched along the edge with the Eyelet Border Punch. I added a slit with the Slot Punch, and ran some Polka-Dot Soft Suede Ribbon around it. The sentiment is from Four the Holidays (#116921), and I added some Gold Elastic Cord (#109867) to make the top of the ornament.

The Shimmer Paint is amazing, and so easy to use. It can be dabbed right onto an inked stamp, or dabbed onto an uninked one, for a tranparent shimmery look. I LOVE the BLING this gives you, and it's so perfect for Christmas cards!

If you'd like to place an order for any of the above, or anything else, please email me at stampinwithjoann@shaw.ca, or go online to my website, and click Shop Now.

Great Friend pocket card

Here is another card I made for Convention Swaps. (The little butterfly is actually very glittery, it's hard to see in this picture. I used Iridescent Ice Embossing powder and Versamark ink to make it pop!)
