Why Should You Sign Up as a Demonstrator under Jo-Ann Unrau?

The support of your upline (the person who you sign up under) can be an important factor in the success of your business.  You’ll want to be sure your upline is going to be able to meet your needs.  Here are a few things that I do for my group of demonstrators, and some reasons you should sign up with me!

 1)        I am a Stampin’ Up! award winner , and whether you want to be an award winner or just want to achieve your quarterly sales minimums, I can show you how to achieve your goals!

 2)        I attend meetings with my downline, which include business information, swaps, demonstrations and great ideas!  I send handouts and extra items to my out-of-town demonstrators. I hold stamping nights and meetings in my studio for my downline, so we can create and learn together!

 3)        Since I earn 2-5% of the sales from my group of demonstrators, I choose to reinvest some of that money back into the group.  I do this by offering incentives, make & takes and more.

 4)        I send out regular e-mail updates and an e-mail newsletter to my entire group.  This newsletter contains business and creative ideas, as well as recognition for our group members.

 5)        I (and you would) have access to an email group where members of my downline can share ideas and business tips with each other.  Along with business information, there are card and scrapbook page samples available for viewing.

 6)        I am here to help you with any questions or concerns.  Contact me, and I will do my best to help you take care of your business.  When you sign up, I will give you a packet of ideas, flyers, and business tips that have made my business more successful.  You may incorporate these ideas into your own business as you see fit.

 7)        Sign up with me, and not only will I do my best to help you with your business, but I will also offer you a money-back guarantee!  If you have not earned back the price of your starter kit in nine months of doing business, I will buy back all of your current unused business supplies!  You get to keep the stamps and fun stuff!

 Sincerely,

Jo-Ann Unrau

Mini Backpack!

Well, I spent some time playing with an idea I had seen on SplitCoastStampers. Here's the aftermath

of my "playing"....

Stamping mess!

Does this happen to you too? I end up with such a small place to work in, that I can't work anymore! I do love to make a mess, and I think it's part of the fun, but I don't love cleaning it all up!

Here's the project that caused this mess.

Mini-backpack

It is a Mini Backpack, and a great gift for teachers. I am hoping to make a few more of these today, and put together little "Survival Kits" for my kids teachers for the year to come. I am going to put in a Starbucks card, some Tylenol, chocolate, and some handmade cards.  Cute huh?

Here are another couple shots of it.....

Mini Backpack 2

This project was featured on SplitCoast, in the demonstrator-only section, so I can't post the link. But I did find a lady who produced a tutorial that you could follow if you like. It starts with 8.5 X11 cardstock, and you cut out the pattern. The designer paper used is Berry Bliss (now retired), and I added the new Flower brad to the front, with a 1" circle punched piece of the Berry Bliss paper. You need sticky strip to hold the pieces together, and I also added some Regal Rose 5/8 grosgrain ribbbon for the straps. What do you think?

First Day of School!

Hello! Well, we made it thru the first day of school! Everyone was a little nervous, but after searching for the right rooms, all the kids got settled into their classrooms pretty quickly. School supplies were flying, let me tell you! We love all the teachers our kids got this year, and I am anticipating a fabulous year for all of them! After getting them settled, I thought to myself: Should I go out for coffee, or get some things done? Well, I decided to get some things done (my first mistake!). I took the van in to get the brakes checked, after hearing alot of funny noises last week, to the tune of $800! Yes, they were in bad shape, and now I am depressed! I should've gone for coffee! Oh well, it's too late now. Tomorrow I will know better :)

The kids had only a half day today (as I think most kids in our area did), and were home for lunch. I got to hear lots of news about friends and teachers etc. Isaac is the most excited (he started grade one this year), and was quite worried going in. He did just fine, though, and I got my first crayon-colored picture for the year! I love those!

I was hoping to get some stamping in this morning, but didn't quite get to it, what with the brakes and all! I hope to upload some fantabulous project tomorrow ---I will get to work on designing that!

Have a terrific day!

Bella Rose card

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I am excited to be heading to a family gathering later today, and looking forward to seeing lots of cousins, aunts & uncles etc. You know we LOVE to eat too! There will undoubtedly be tons of food!

As I head off to get ready for this, I thought I'd send you a little stamping inspiration from my desk. Here's a quick card I made the other night.

Bella_rose_card

It is using the Bella Rose Designer Series paper (I LOVE this stuff!), along with Pink Pirouette cardstock, and Kiwi Kiss. I punched out the Bella Rose paper for the centre circle, using the 1 /4" circle punch, added a 1 3/8" punched circle of Kiwi Kiss behind, then popped that up onto a Scallop punched piece of the Bella Rose chocolate polka dots. The bakground layers are simple straight cuts, with an added Scallop Edge punch trim along the bottom. The sentiment is from the Upsy Daisy stamp set (on sale for 15% off right now!) in Chocolate Chip ink. Hope you like this!

Have a fabulous Sunday!
