Pink Pirouette card

Here is the completed card that I showed as a Sneak Peek a few days ago. We made this as theStamp Club Make & Take this past week, as well as a Technique Page on 'Ghosting'. (I will post a sample with that technique in a day or two.)

Stamp Club envelope card The ladies seemed to enjoy the challenge of making this card, even though I was a little worried about overwhelming them. Everyone had a blast making it, and the Build-A-Brad on the front was a hit!

Details on how it's made:

We used the Tres Chic background on Pink Pirouette cardstock, stamped in Versamark, and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. The next step was to punch the bottom of the Pink Pirouette cardstock with the Scallop Edge punch. The Old Olive prints paper strip was punched to match, and adhered underneath. The little envelope on the front was made using the Envelope Die and the Big Shot die cutting machine, on Old Olive prints paper. It is so easy to make these, as the machine cuts it, scores it, and even adds the cute lace accent along the top, all in one go thru. We added adhesive on either side, and it was ready to put on the card! First we folded some 1 1/4 inch Pink Pirouette ribbon, and taped that underneath. Inside the envelope is a little note card stamped with the Punches Three stamp set square image, and punched out with the Square Scallop Punch. We also paper pierced along the top of the little note card before sliding it into the envelope. Then, the finale was to make the Build-A-Brad for the front. For this, we used the 1/2" circle punch to make an Old Olive circle, and adhered that to the brad. The clear bubble was already sticky, so we popped that on top. We punched out a larger circle with the 3/4" circle punch, and Pink Pirouette cardstock, and put the brad thru that. It is attached with a dimentional so as not to get in the way of the note card. I hope you enjoy this project!
